British Asian singer Arjun is known for his magical ability to remake Bollywood hits into something fresh and exciting. Arjun has a beautiful voice, a keen ear for re-creating melodies, and some real talent as a songwriter. He has some kick ass original tracks, but it’s Arjun’s remakes that have the fans always coming back for more.

Essentially he creates a whole new song with the chorus of the original still in tact. Here are some of our favorite Arjun remakes that are just as good—if not better—than the original track!

1. “Kabhi Kabhi” featuring Shivali

Arjun and Shivali bring an old classic to the modern age with this remake of “Kabhi Kabhi,” originally an Urdu poem written by Sahir Ludhianvi and sung by Mukesh. It was from the movie with the same titled starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rakhee.

2. “Tum Hi Ho” featuring Rekha Sawhney

“Tum Hi Ho” became an instant classic when the film “Aashiqui 2,” starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor released. Arjun brought a harsh and darker vibe to the beautiful song changing it completely. Rekha Sawhney’s vocals are absolutely lovely and only adds to the song’s energy.

3. “Mohabbat Barsa De” from “Creature 3D”

Arjun only features on this official remake of the romantic song “Mohabbat Barsa De” from Bipasha Basu’s horror flick “Creature 3D,” but he definitely adds to the x-factor. The track is by Arijit Singh and Samira Koppikar. The video only adds to the steamy track with a seductive performance by Surveen Chawla and Rajneesh Duggal.

4. “(I’ll be waiting) Kabhi Jo Badal Barse” featuring Arijit Singh

Arjun tells you a beautiful new story of unrequited love with his new lyrics to the romantic song. Arjun spins a sweet romance with this video and song that express the depth of a one sided love story—”Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” style!

5. “Chammal Challo” From “Ra.One”

Arjun adds an R&B touch to this hit song from Shah Rukh Khan’s “Ra.One.” The original already included International artist, Akon along with Hamsika Iyer. The catchy track was already a mash-up of Hollywood and Bollywood so it is very interesting how Arjun added a new twist to this epic song with new lyrics.

6. “Can’t Forget you (Tujhe Bula Diya)” featuring Jonita Gandhi

Jonita Gandhi and Arjun tell you a whole new love story with this remix. Gandhi is a fabulous singer (follow her if you don’t already!) These two look so freaking gorgeous together I can’t handle it and they sound brilliant together as well! #PowerCouple

7. “All of Me (Baarish)” featuring Tulsi Kumar

Another soulful number from Arjun, this time featuring the lovely Tulsi Kumar. The song was already quite steamy and dark but Arjun adds to the song’s depth with his remake.

8. “Excuse Me (Ambarsariya)” featuring Reality Raj and Rekha Sawhney

Arjun turns this old school classic into a kick ass modern dance number, it was remade for the film “Fukrey” but Arjun took it up a notch with his remake! It even features a catchy rap verse by Reality Raj.

9. “Teri Meri” remix featuring Priti Menon

Arjun and Priti Menon blend English and Hindi vocals beautifully in this soulful remake of “Bodyguard’s” hit song “Teri Meri.” Arjun spins a whole new love story spanning race and religion through his lyrics, unrelated to the original story but kept the concept of forbidden love just like Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s forbidden love in the film.

10. “Chaiyya Chaiyya (Super Bass remix)”

There have been thousands of remixes of Shah Rukh Khan and Malaika Arora Khan’s “Chaiyya Chaiyya,” the hit item number from “Dil se,” but none are as addicting as Arjun’s! Arjun blends east and west with this awesome “Chaiyya Chaiyya” remix blended with Nicki Minaj’s single “Super Bass.” You definitely haven’t heard a remix like this one!
