Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback won big while attending CinemaCon 2023! The Transformers: Rise of the Beasts duo was honored with the Rising Stars of the Year Award at the CinemaCon which was held in Las Vegas.

Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback accept the Rising Stars Of The Year Award at CinemaCon 2023
Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback were honored with the Rising Stars Of The Year Award at CinemaCon 2023 which was organised at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ramos and Fishback both shared their excitement for the forthcoming movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts which is set to hit the screens on June 9, 2023.
Dominique told the media outlet, “I used to work at a Regal theater at Battery Park in New York. I used to dream of being in movies like this.” Soon after, Anthony mentioned that his love for the popular franchise goes way back to the animated series.
Ramos went on to say, “I would wait every weekend for the newest episode to drop. Being a part of Transformers universe is beyond my wildest dreams. My 13-year-old self would be like, ‘Yo, that’s fire.’”
CinemaCon managing director Mitch Neuhauser said, “With a breadth of experience across theater, television, and film, Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback will undoubtedly captivate audiences as they take on their first action-packed franchise film in this summer’s Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. We are thrilled to be honoring these two talented individuals with this year’s CinemaCon Rising Stars of the Year Award.”
Anthony is best known for playing the roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in the Broadway musical Hamilton, meanwhile, Fishback is noted for her performances in films like Judas and the Black Messiah, and The Hate U Give.
What is the movie ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ all about?
The upcoming movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts which is set to release on June 9 is based on Hasbro’s Transformers toy line and the storyline of the film is influenced by the Beast Wars storyline.
The sci-fi film is set to take everyone on a globetrotting adventure with the iconic Autobots in the 1990s. It will introduce a brand-new faction of Transformers, the Maximals, to join them as allies in the ongoing battle for Earth.
