As a fan spotted Angelina Jolie and Paul Mescal grabbing coffee together in London, the movie star revealed her unlikely friendship with the actor.
After splitting from her ex-husband Brad Pitt, the actress, who is currently single after their split was confirmed last week, was seen chatting with the Irish actor, most notably known for his role as Connell in the romantic comedy “Normal People,” inside the Almeida Café & Bar on Saturday night.
A 16-year-old girl, Shiloh, was also joined by the stars, who were all engaged in a conversation with one another, including Jolie’s daughter, Angelina Jolie. It had been about an hour since the mother-daughter duo met up after Mescal played Stanley in the Almeida Theatre production of “A Streetcar Named Desire” earlier in the day.
In an Instagram post, one fan snapped a picture of the trio and wrote: “Angelina Jolie saw ‘A Streetcar named desire’ yesterday and after they grabbed a coffee at the @almeida_theatre Cafe!”

In the County Kildare region of Ireland, Paul was born in Maynooth.
