The nominees for the American Music Awards 2022 have already been revealed. The most popular artists and albums of 2022 will be recognized at the 50th Annual Awards Ceremony. And you’ll be pleased to know that Bad Bunny leads the list of nominations among other artists, with a total of seven nominations.
Not only that, but Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Drake are all up for six nominations. Taylor Swift also received six nominations for the MTV EMA. Harry Styles received 5 nominations, whereas he led the nominations list at the MTV EMA 2022.
Adele, The Weeknd, and Future received five nominations. Let’s take a look at the full list of nominees.
American Music Awards 2022 Nominations List Is Here
The awards ceremony will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 20, 2022. If Bad Bunny secures all 8 nominations awards tie Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston for the most AMAs won in a single year.
But the artist has a real competition this year. Beyoncé, Drake, and Taylor Swift are also up for the Artist of the Year category. And winning this for Bad Bunny is actually challenging. But if he did win, he will be the king of the ceremony in 2022.
This year, new categories were added: Favorite K-pop Artist, Favorite Afrobeats Artist, Favorite Rock Song, Favorite Rock Album, Favorite Touring Artist, and Favorite Soundtrack. Favorite Trending Song was removed this year.
