Hiding A Note In Alison’s Shoe…
“GLOW” star Alison Brie appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and shared with the host about how she first met the love of her life, Dave Franco. Talking about a movie, Alison revealed that Dave is a “very romantic” guy so they certainly had some situations early on.
She recalled, “When we first started dating, we spent the first, like six weeks of our relationship in different cities.” Alison added that he was shooting a movie, “Now You See Me”, so they met in New Orleans during Mardi Gras when he was shooting that. She revealed that as he moved forward to New York while filming the movie, they re-met. Alison detailed that he was going to finish the shooting in Paris.
Finding A Lock With Their Initials…
On my last day in New York, Dave hid a note in my shoe and when I am putting my shoes on, I get this note, and it says: “Meet me in Paris”, and there is a little drawing of two sticks figures and the Eiffel Tower.” She added that when she went to Paris, her friends suggested she go to this bridge, the Pont De Arts where people put their initials on locks and they lock it on the bridge, and it means they’re gonna be together.”
“They throw the keys into the Sein, and I was like slow your roll, I just met this guy, let me try to be cool and aloof for some time,” she added about her friends. Alison further stated that when they went to Paris, it was raining and Dave gave her his jacket.
When she put her hands in her pocket and pulls out a little lock with their initials on it. She looked at him and she was like, “Damn, you like me.” “We locked it on the bridge and we’ve been together ever since,” Alison concluded. Jimmy Fallon revealed a picture of the gorgeous couple from the Pont De Arts.
Married To Professional & Personal Lives…
Dave Franco and Alison Brie have undoubtedly married both, in their professional and personal lives. The couple met in 2011 while celebrating Mardi Gras in New Orleans and married each other in 2017. Since then, the two have been collaborating on projects and supporting each other’s careers ever since.
For instance, in 2017, the two co-starred in The Little Hours and The Disaster Artist. In 2020, Dave made his directorial debut with the horror film The Rental, starring Brie. FYI, he is again set to direct his wife in the rom-com they co-wrote together, Somebody I Used to Know, which premiers e on Amazon Prime sometime in 2023.
