It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas indeed! Last month, our iconic Ralphie surprised us with the exciting teaser of A Christmas Story and today, the film is here with its full-length trailer giving us a peak into the upcoming adventures of Ralphie who has fully grown and can’t wait to unravel his Christmas spirit this holiday season.
Ralphie keeps his father’s spirit alive by continuing to celebrate Christmas in the style that he does.
The new “A Christmas Story” will be a separate entity from the previous sequels to Ralphie’s story, such as 1994’s “It Runs in The Family” or last year’s live TV musical special. Check out this article to know everything.
A Christmas Story Trailer Is Here To Make You Happy
After almost forty years, HBO Max released the trailer for “A Christmas Story 2: The New Deluxe Edition,” giving its millions of subscribers a taste of one of America’s most beloved holiday traditions.
HBO Max dropped the official trailer for A Christmas Story: The Movie, marking the start of this year’s holiday season and introducing audiences to Peter Billingsley’s return as Ralphie Parker.
The trailer shows the 51-year-old actor attempting to reconnect with his inner child by returning to Cleveland St. with his new family, but it also depicts him trying—and failing—to reconcile the death of his father and former life there.
Ralphie is hoping to bring the same joy and magic he experienced growing up in a small town to kids in his own hometown. In the new film, Ralphie will encounter childhood friends and make new ones to spread holiday cheer.
The upcoming release is set in the 1970s—which means that it’s been forty years since “A Christmas Story” was released in 1983 (that one took place on a 1940s-era factory assembly line).
The trailer ends with his inner monologue revealing that as he promised his mother (Julie Hagerty) that he would make this Christmas memorable despite the death of his father, all thoughts other than.
“What have I done? And now it was all up to me?!” ran through his mind. The trailer concludes with Ralphie, now grown up and speaking directly to the camera, laughing in an eerily childlike way.
