This year’s coveted Time 100 list honored eight paramount South Asians, including Kumail Nanjiani, Sheikh Hasina, Virat Kohli, for their inherent contributions to the society. Last night, at the Time 100 Gala, three stunning brown women continued to power on and represent the diaspora.

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who made her Hollywood debut opposite Vin Diesel with 2017’s “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage” and will return for its sequel, was a part of 2018’s Time 100 list. Diesel also wrote the speech for her, calling her “the best Earth has to offer. She’s not just here to represent India; she’s here to represent the world.”

She attended the gala looking like her flawless self in an Anamika Khanna design.
