This week we return with our desi remake of favorite American shows by recasting a reboot of “Full House!” “Full House” was a cult classic that children today still watch on television. John Stamos, aka Uncle Jesse, and Candace Cameron Bure who played his niece DJ, decided to bring back the old team to produce a reboot of the hit show to air exclusively on Netflix.

The entire season of “Fuller House” recently released and fans have gone wild for the chance to see the old stars reunite, the new kids cause some chaos and, of course, that comfy blue and white plaid sofa that we’re all so familiar with. The episodes had similar life lessons as the original with a little bit of adult comedy thrown in. They even had a Bollywood-inspired episode—complete with a coordinated Bollywood dance!

The spin-off was so successful, creators were given a renewal for season 2 less than a week after its release on Netflix! How would “Fuller House” look if we brought in some of our favorite Bollywood stars to re-create the family magic?

Danny Tanner, Uncle Jesse, and Joey!

The trio who led this show to greatness, Danny, Jesse, and Joey have the most amazing chemistry both on and off screen. It would be impossible to recast these characters using Bollywood stars—plus the men of Bollywood never age so who would be ready to play a grandfather? Although they’re not old enough to be grandfathers yet, how about a reunion of Khan’s as Danny, Jesse, and Joey?

I would cast Aamir Khan as Danny Tanner, strange choice, right? But his work in films like “3 Idiots,” “Dil Chahta Hai,” “Dhoom 3,” and “Taare Zameen Par” has shown us that he can play the awkward guy, that’s sometimes suave and great with kids. Also, since Danny is the host of “Wake Up San Francisco,” Khan’s years as host of “Satyamev Jayate” makes him a perfect fit! Aamir Khan can definitely pull off the awkward moments that Danny is constantly facing.

Now, it’s no surprise why I picked the first love of millions of girls, the king of romance, Shah Rukh Khan and his flippy hair for the role of uncle Jesse. His comic timing, witty remarks, adorable awkwardness, smooth moves with the ladies, and those dimples are more than enough reason to cast King Khan in the role of Jesse Katzapolis, the “bad boy” of the crew.

Like uncle Jesse, Shah Rukh Khan has also shown us that he never ages, and he’s skilled—as not just a romantic hero, but as a serious actor with strong roles like “My Name is Khan” and “Chak De India.” Even at age 50, King Khan has girls flocking to him, who could resist his charming ways!

The perpetually single Joey could be played by none-other-than the man who is in the hearts of millions across the globe, Salman Khan! Think about it, they’re both single, absolutely lovable characters, funny with many hidden talents (have you seen Khan’s paintings!) and love kids! Like Joey, Khan is also known for his catch phrases like “Mere bare mein itna mat sochna … dil mein aata hoon—samajh mein nahi” from the film “Kick,” and “Ek bar joh maine commitment kar di … uske baad toh main khud ki bhi nahi sunta” from the film “Wanted.”

Also, who wouldn’t kill for a “Karan Arjun” reunion.

“Yeh bandhan toh pyaar ka bandhan hai….” Excuse me while I deal with my emotions.

Aunt Becky

Aunt Becky was the sole female lead that was consistently keeping the boys in check and providing the motherly love DJ, Stephanie and Michelle needed. Who else would we pair opposite the dimpled King than his favorite Queen, Kajol Devgn! From the 90s to the present, the magic of SRK and Kajol is still just as mesmerizing!

Since Becky is also Danny’s co-host on “Wake Up San Francisco,” I was looking for an actress that had great chemistry with Jesse as well as Danny. Kajol definitely fits the bill! While on one hand she’s given us hit films like “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge,” and “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,” with Shah Rukh Khan (and Salman Khan); there’s also “Fanaa” and “Ishq” with Aamir Khan. She would definitely add a unique flair and some quirkiness to the sweet and loving role of Aunt Becky.

DJ and Steve

For DJ Tanner and her first love Steve, I was on the hunt for a young jodi of a soft and responsible actress and an over-the-top hero. It wasn’t long before I had my perfect couple—Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan!

Kapoor has played the smart, soft-spoken but strong girl in films like “Aashiqui 2” and “Ek Villain,” she would be a believable DJ Tanner. Although in “Fuller House” DJ is now a mother of 3—the eldest of whom is 13-years-old—perhaps Kapoor could be a mother of 2 kids both of whom are under 8-years-old? Varun Dhawan has shown us his amazing comedy skills in numerous films from “Main Tera Hero” to “Dilwale.” The actor has even been compared to the uber talented Govinda when it comes to comedy—definitely qualities we want in our always hungry and hilarious Steve.

Stephanie Tanner

Stephanie Tanner has grown up to be a fabulous woman in “Fuller House.” The young girl who’s catch phrase, “How Rude” is still popular today, has become a jet-setting, worldly DJ. Flirty, fabulous and witty, who could we cast but Bollywood’s cutest diva, Alia Bhatt. Bhatt has the powerful attitude needed to pull off Stephanie. Wouldn’t she be a hot Stephanie?

The stylish diva can definitely be the sexy, wild sister to the responsible and reserved Shraddha Kapoor. Wouldn’t these petite beauties look adorable as sisters?

Kimmy Gibbler

Surprisingly, the quirky and unusual Kimmy Gibbler was easiest to cast in this group—Parineeti Chopra! One film defines it all: “Hasee Toh Phasee.” The actress brilliantly pulled off the totally awkward Meera. Besides her character Meera, Chopra is known to be bold and comfortable in her own skin—qualities viewers love most about Kimmy Gibbler. Bhatt even mentioned a that she’d love to do a “Dil Chahta Hai” remake with Chopra and Kapoor, so why not a “Fuller House” remake?

I’d love to pair Chopra with her “Meri Pyaari Bindu” co-star, Ayushmann Khurrana. Khurrana would be an adorable Fernando, Kimmy’s estranged husband. Fernando is just as quirky as Kimmy and so adorable with his Spanish accent—definitely something Khurrana would be able to pull off. Can’t you see him doing something like this…

The “Nautanki Saala” actor would definitely kill it in this role! Both Chopra and Khurrana are very talented actors that truly lose themselves in their characters and with a couple like Kimmy and Fernando you must be able to let go and not be self-conscious.

With an all-star cast of sexy and talented actresses of new age Bollywood and an epic reunion of Khan’s, this remake of “Fuller House” would be a visual treat!
