Karan, naam toh suna hoga, right? Karan happens to be one of the most common names found in the entertainment industry—especially on television! Do you know how many Karan’s we have on television? A lot of them!
Some of them even have the same last name, which makes stalking them so hard because you never know which Karan is the actual Karan you’re searching for, so will the real Karan please stand up?
I’ve decided to count down my favorite Karans on television. So get ready for a long ride because I watch a whole lot of Indian television—and there’s a whole lotta Karan’s I love! Here’s the countdown to the cutest Karan’s on TV:
Here’s the countdown to the cutest Karan’s on TV:
1. Karan Johar
We’ve got to start with the biggest Karan on Indian television, film producer, director, and talk show host Karan Johar. Johar has been delighting audiences with his juicy “Koffee with Karan” episodes for years. And as a corny romantic I can’t live without a little Dharma Production in my life.
No one teaches you to live how you want without caring about the judgment of others like Johar.
2. Karan Wahi
Karan Wahi is a cricketer turned actor, and though fans fell for him when he was a teen heartthrob on the show “Remix” I fell in love with Wahi when he played Dr. Sidhant Modi on “Dill Mill Gayye.
He’s so adorable yet sexy all at once and his dimpled bashful smile will have you melting in seconds. Dr. McDreamy, I think I need CPR?
Wahi is also a great host and quite the comedian, have you seen this cutie on “Comedy Nights Bachao” yet?
3. Karan V. Grover
Karan V. Grover studied chemical engineering and later event management—smart and cute, what a catch! Grover was a top finalist in the Gladrags Manhunt contest in 2004, a VJ on Zee Music for a year and a half before debuting on television with the popular show “Sarrthi.” This cutie has been on numerous iconic shows since then and was last seen on the hilarious television show, “Bahu Hamari Rajnikanth.”
Sadly Grover left the show and it sounds like it was for a film. Hopefully, we’ll get to see this talented actor on the big screen soon!
4. Karan Singh Grover
Another actor who left television for films is Karan Singh Grover. Singh Grover is a television legend! His fan following is so powerful that when he left “Qubool Hai” his replacement, Raqesh Vashisht would receive intense hate mail! Singh Grover is dripping with sexiness and he’s so kind towards his fans it makes them love him even more!
Whether he plays a mischievous bad boy with a heart of gold, like on “Dill Mill Gayye.” or an angry young man in “Qubool Hai” he is amazing. According to recent reports, the actor has been inspired by his sexy wife, Bipasha Basu to start singing as well. Singh Grover used to be in a band in his youth and he has posted some sweet Instagram posts of his singing, he actually sounds pretty good.
5. Karan Kundra
Karan Kundra isn’t conventionally handsome, but there’s just something about his angry look and his voice that draws you in. Kundra started his career with “Kitani Mohabbat Hai” and the show was so popular, Ekta Kapoor brought back Kundra with his co-star Kritika Kamra for a season 2! Kundra has done other serials since then but mainly episodic shows, and hosting for events and shows like “Gumrah: End of Innocence,” “Roadies” and “Pyaar Tune Kiya Kiya.” He was bringing the heat recently in a music video he did with Ruhi Singh.
Did you notice his hair is always perfect?
6. Karanvir Bohra
Karanvir Bohra is another actor who’s not classically handsome but there’s just something about the way his eyes spark, his smile, his laugh and his powerful acting that will have you swooning. Even with all those dreamy looks, Bohra is at his best when he plays the handsome villain in television shows, not the hero, he’s got those bad boy skills down to an art.
You’re bound to fall in love with Bohra if you follow him on Instagram, he and his wife Teejay are the cutest couple!
Sweety @bombaysunshine what do I say….this is by far the best gift god has given you on your birthday (and me too). Whenever I look at them with you and see what a doting mother you are, it makes me love you even more. You have this inherent charm of spreading love, wether is your family, me, our babies or the world….you feel love for everyone. I wish you the world's happiness and success in your life.❤️
With the arrival of their twins, the duo are the happiest parents around—it’s just so precious.
7. Karan Mehra
Karan Mehra is such a sweetheart, he’s like this teddy bear you just want to cuddle with always. His smile lights up the room and his laugh is contagious. He’s shy and bashful and just the cutie your mother would love for you to bring home.
He won the hearts of millions over the years playing Naitik on the popular show “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.” He played well on “Bigg Boss” until his departure and we’re sure Mehra’s fans are eagerly waiting to see him on the small screen again.
8. Karan Tacker
Karan Tacker is undeniably handsome, he’s just beautiful—even in person! He has this mischievous look that leaves a string of broken hearts wherever he goes. Tacker started his career with the sweet love story of “Love ne Bana di Jodi” and when on to become a fan favorite with the show “Ek Hazaaron Main Meri Behna” where he played the perfect husband. His show “Rang Badalti Odhani” was also quite popular.
Tacker is not just a good actor but an excellent host as well. He’s hosted numerous events as well as reality shows, currently you can catch this cutie on India’s version of “The Voice.”
9. Karan Goddwani
What I love most about Karan Goddwami is that he always looks oblivious, he’s like this lost puppy you just want to take home and care for. Goddwani is a hilarious actor with his NRI accents and perfect comic timing. Can you believe he was originally studying in audio engineering in Spain? What a life changing move from engineering to acting!
— Karan (@imkarangodhwani) June 7, 2016
Goddwani was on shows like “Rang Badalti Odhani,” “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Do,” “Diya Aur Baati Hum,” “Sanjog Se Bani Sangini,” and the comedy show “Jugni Chali Jhalandar.”
10. Karan Sharma
Karan Sharma looks like the sweet boy next door, like he’d never lie to you and promises to love you forever and ever. This is most definitely the most innocent looking Karan of the lot. Sadly this cutie just got married, Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Sharma!
New life, new journey @tiaara_karan_sharma #karanwedstiaara #love #life #blessings #marriedman 😉
This young actor has starred in shows like “Pyaar Ka Bandhan,” “Baa Bahoo aur Baby,” “Bandihi,” “Pavitra Rishta,” “Ek Nayi Pehchaan,” “Mohi” “Yeh Hai Aashiqui” and more! However, most recently, the actor was on the Zee TV drama, “Kaala Teeka.”
11. Karan Patel
Angry young man Karan Patel is known as the Shah Rukh Khan of the small screen. He’s talented, looks a bit like Khan, and can romance like no other. His harsh voice and expressive eyes do all the acting and it’s effortless. He’s even been working on his bod along with co-star Aly Goni and the duo is looking sexy af.
